RE: 190revolution getting hacked

Hi revvers and everybody else
Im cant help thinking about all that "legalisation" or whatever to call it these days when the big guys in our countrys are trying to make laws for the net. where are the laws when you need it?? i cant take my car and park infront of a mall door without my car getting towed outta there.. right?

But these guys can shutdown a domain and gettin away with it?!? what if the rev would have been a company whith their only shop on the net, it would be outta buessnes pretty soon without any way to do something about it?!

I guess its about time to deside if the net is going to be civilised with laws or like in the good ol' days when it was sorta cleening out its own closet. like an "eye for an eye", do something bad and you'll get bad back, which i think was a better way cos thats the language the scriptkiddies know.

There is btw, depending somewhat on the technic used in the dos attac tho.. ways to block the traffic to the adress with a firewall or router. another possibility might be if the attaker uses the same computers to tell the rev to totaly ignore that computer (ip-number, ip-range or mac adress)but again there is alot of buts in this that i dont have here som this is just speculations and i hope our admins are doing all they can legaly and technical.

I might be able to help out 190revo if they want to move from a regular host to a non-bandwidth limited host. If the owner is interested, shoot me an email at davidhefner@datai.com.
