Trying to "understand" the mind of a "forum terrorist" is about as worthless an undertaking that can be imagined. It's obviously someone that needs some serious psychological counseling.
well from what i hear this one dude posted his web page up and then some of the other members wrote in his guest book and basically shitted on his site / him and LINKED THE REV !!!! some people are not quick but.... cant be a defenate sure ( for those who know what/who iam talking about)

One of our immature Canadian friends (not naming names) decided he didnt like this kid. I guess this kid is some sort of dorky druggie hacker wannabe or something.
Anyway one of our Members told everyone on 190 rev to sign this kids guestbook and so our most immature members about 300 out of 1000 decided to bombard this guys guest book with hate mail and of course he could go into his link properties and see that most of his links came from 190 rev.
I kinda blame the moderators for this. That post should have been deleted immedeatly. Ultimately the blame is on a certian member of our forum for inciting rath on some kid none of us even knew.
I thought at first it was dfwidner, but I checked in on s14.net (I am a former E30 M3 owner) and dfwidner thought it was funny but said it wasn't him.

I dont know alot on server management, but wouldnt it be possible to block the ports of the server from where the malicious packet are coming in bunch? 'cause if the guy is flooding are bandwith, than it is probably because he is using and sending always the same packet on the same port no?
I readed that strategy in a french magazine a couple of days ago.
Anyway, I hope whe will have are forum back, 'cause I am sooo missing it!![8D]
