In the U.S., it happened in '89. It added different front and rear bumpers and side body panels.
The different front bumper was now on both the 2.3 and 2.6. It involved a larger air inlet that extended almost the length of the bumper (see B) and a small (about 1") airdam (see A).

this is a bit off topic, but i believe prior to 1984 the 190's had dual arm wipers and after 85 they were single arm?
There were two changes to the wipers. Prior to 1984, dual wipers were used. In 1984 the mono wiper was used with a single window washer nozzle. As of January 1985, the "jumping" monowiper and dual washer nozzles were used. The change increased the wiped area and the wiper was parked on the driver's side, so that the driver's view was cleared first. Due to the parts changes, including the hood, windshield mount, etc. it is not possible to swap systems.
