ok so i have this 1991 190e 2.3 project
ive spent way to much money on the car.
I need a REAL mechanic that know these cars very well to come help me slap this bitch together.
I will be buying some new parts and painting before we meet up!
So far these are the parts i have
ALL NEW
spark plugs (copper) / wires
oil/filter
air filter
coolant res
19ft of vacuum lines
water pump
alternator
battery
OVP relay
sensor on water pump
timing chain
all 3 guide rails
valve cover gasket
timing case gasket
head gasket set (intake/exhaust)
head bolts /washers
all new Fuses
pins for guide rails in cylinder head
timing tensor
first i tryed to do this myself. i installed all of above except for
i didnt open timing case. didnt replace chain or 2 guide rails.
i think i damage my valves installing wrong (or it has pressure cracks) i didnt check it ><
Now i got a 93 head that has been pressure checked / resurfaced and valve job.
Im gonna take everything apart and paint it everything i can paint i will.
so when you get here i will have everything paint and ready to be thrown together.
any other parts i should just get ( common parts that break ect)
like should i get a new starter and coil ( i dont think mine are bad but who knows when it will go out??)
would rather have all the parts ready to do asap.
i live in san jose.
i can come pick you up and drop you off.
i can $$$ as well ofc
