AMG Body Kit

Just got a deal on CL today. 250.00 and I am pretty happy...Missing bumper impact strips and tow cover. Complete with the Bosch lights. One small crack on one of the lenses and very minor. Front needs repair here and there. But overall good shape. Genuine pre-merger AMG. Looks like the side cladding is exact fit same as 1993 and the 1993 impact strips are the same dimensions as well. Locating a tow cover will be very hard. Will be working on it this in the spring. Full re-spray this summer.

Wow, that's a steal. I got my kit minus the front spoiler add on and mine had the gen 2 side skirts for around the same price. Looking forward to seeing it on your car!

It's a gen 2 kit otherwise it wouldn't fit. I will probably go the route of the stealership for the impact strips so I am not worried about the fit. Bumpers will be fully colored and no 2 tone color scheme like it is now. 17 inch mono blocks that are on w210 now . Keeping it tasteful and not over the top. No aftermarket except some depos. I have a 1984 16v wing a bought from amgviper. Not sure about this on a AMG clone though. Need some input here from purists

Yeah I would agree. I as just reading a post and saw someone had said something about making a Frank'n-Benz and I took that as over the top after market and I am trying to keep it all MB factory look. Ya know when you look at something and you just know it is wrong? Like having sex with your cousin...

Here are some pictures of the car and the kit. Some repair to do and looks like it was in a few accidents and has been resprayed as well.

My car is very straight except a small roll on the passenger fender which throw the hood alignment off a little and the paint is really bad. I needed to replace both bumper impact strip anyway so this will work good for me. Like most of these cars once they get 3+ owners they did nothing to maintain them. It's not a Honda...

I have done quite a bit of work and some at the indie to get it running well and still some mechanical to do. the M103 is a great engine as long as it does not leak oil...which this one does not now. See my other post about the valve cover rehab which I completed today and will be posting some pictures. But looks like rain coming...I think it will be sharp when complete and the Almandine red is very nice.

The damage isn't too bad. Can't wait to see it installed and the car resprayed.
