W201 Blower Motor Control Switch

I've searched the forums and browsed the FAQs but can't seem to find a thread of instructions on how to remove the blower motor control switch located above the climate control module. I undid the top and bottom screws, took out radio and ashtray and took off the rubber knob on switch but something still seems to be holding it all in and can't figure it out. anyone have a link to a diagram or video? Thanks

Take the center vents off, you'll find two screws at the bottom that attaches the upper panel assy for the blower control switch. Take the power window/side mirror panel off, you will find 8mm bolt that attaches the lower panel assy. Remove the panel below the glove box compartment as well. All these removed, you'll have extra space to take the center console out, just enough to access the blower switch. Unplug the harness, remove the rubber knob, pry up the wood panel and you'll find two screws that holds the blower switch. Remove the switch from the aft face of the console.
Hope this helps. I repaired a stuck up control switch just last week.

I found out what my problem was thanks all. There were a total of 4 screws I had to remove at the bottom. Two were kind of hidden behind and below the ashtray screws. Newish switch installed and working great! Now to replace my center console passenger p/w switch assembly!
