My $675 1993 190E 2.3 Project - Pics

1993 190E 2.3 - 104,000 Miles - Blown Head Gasket

I paid $675 and it is in wonderful condition. Just had a full tune up prior to the head gasket blowing; wires, plugs, cap, and rotor. Also has a new full exhaust. Interior is amazing and exterior just needs a good coat of wax. I am very excited about this project.

List so far:
-Head Gasket and Head Check and machining (Will check timing chain while in there. Actually I will have a friend help cause I'll have no idea)
-Engine Mounts during head gasket job
-Thermostat and coolant system
-Transmission fluid and filter change
-Power Steering fluid change
-New antenna

Any recommendations or thought, please let me know!!

First things first, I need to replace the gasket and all associated parts. I have a started a thread here on preparation for this:

i have same exact car man, beautiful ride i have the 2.6 urghh im just in heaven, such amazing accelration, and such comfort, and the girls love it hehe, it beats most modern cars and honda civics =p

might want to have the head inspected before replacing the head gasket, ensure that the deck is nice and flat.
also, give it a full ignition tuneup and replace the temperature sensors in the head.
