Hello, I have a 1992 2.0L 190e. I've been told I could have a bad OVP relay due to the cars abs light being on and poor performance (slow and uses lots of fuel).
Recently cleaned ICV, fully serviced and new injectors. She idles fine but it is very slow and gets around 18mpg going easy, a friend who knows a lot about old merc's says it could be the OVP.
My question is. where is it and what does it look like? I'm in the UK so right hand drive btw
i dont know about the uk version but mine is right by the ecu behind the battery. Worth a look i think. my book is from the uk and it pointed me right to it.
the euro cars have the ovp in the fuse box or in the aux fuse box. you can distinguish it by looking for a relay like thing with a red top and a red fuse with a silver base.
