190e Fuse (#13) Keeps Blowing

Hello to all, and thanks for taking a look at my question...

So fuse #13 - the one that is used for the stereo/trunk light/interior light/etc - keeps blowing out on me. I went through 3 fuses already and I decided to stop and come here to get some help.

What could the problem be?

Here is some background....

- I have no antenna mast, and the silver box with all the coaxel inputs is not connected either, the antenna wire and the 12v wire are cut and taped together

- I had no problem with it until I went to an audio shop and asked to have the antenna wire RE-wired so that I could fit it into the silver box without having to use the antenna - he re-wired it and thats when the problem started - no radio now and the fuse keeps blowing

That's it - if you could help it would be SO MUCH HELP!

Take it back to the audio shop that did the work. No need for you to mess with it.

Unless they are certified I wouldnt let some chump chop shit up in your German car. Take it back and have them fix it or they can pay to have someone else fix it.

check for short circuit. I have the similar problem with my 1986 model
