Fuse 19 Ok, Checked to see if any power was coming to the switch because it will not even light up, and No power coming from the wires that are connected to the rear defogger switch on dash.

PM'd you back. Posting here for search purposes:

I'll bet you have an aftermarket radio too?

I just found this out this weekend when I did my stereo install.

On the factory stereo harness, there is a hot/12v power wire, color of wire is black and yellow. In the same bundle of wires, there is another wire which is also black and yellow, but I think it's a slightly smaller gauge. Those wires need to be connected together.

I cut off the entire harness plug when I did my install, and just connected the +12v to my headunit, leaving the wire for the rear defroster and glovebox (and who knows what else) disconnected. Once I connected the above mentioned wire to the +12v lead, everything worked again.
