Swap it with a Suzuki swift 1986 1L'll not really be able to move over 12 mph, but you will have the best MPG a 190e ever got!

When was the last time you had a full tune up? I have a 92 Sportline, 2.6 auto and the worst I have ever gotten is just over 23 and on the highway I avg. a little over 27.

Check your air filter and replace it if it's dirty. Change your spark plugs too. Just make sure you space them correctly. Those are two pretty quick and easy ways to keep MPG up...while I'm on quick and easy, fill up those tires to 35 or so

do you have oversized tires/rims on the car. those will attribute to loss of MPG as well
