Does anyone have a list of rims that are a good fit for a 190e 2.6 1990?
looking to upgrade the style of rims on my 190 and was hoping someone out there knows what other 15" or 16" Mercedes' rims are easily interchanged.... without spacers, folding lips on fenders or buying unusual shaped rubber to fit on the car.
I found this document but not too sure how useful or reliable it is...
eg. the merc 190 15x7 with a 44 offset doesn't look like it would be replaceable by the S Class's 15x7 with an offset of 25??
Is there a safe range of offset for a 15" or 17" rim on a 190e?
Is there more info somewhere else?
Thanks
Alex
I used C230 5 spoke sport wheel on my 89, no spacers, no lip rolling, plus i lowered it an inch and half with H&R springs with Bilstien sport shock & struts. RIDES GREAT

Hmmm they look kinda small, and of the pics ive seen with 17's the wheels look like they fill up the fenders more. Maybe because it looks like hes running 215's in the back, and its also not very lowered in the back.
go on tire rack...load in your model and try different tire/wheel combinations..they have a feature that shows the base model of your car and it will show what they look like with different size/pattern/color of rims and different tires sizes..you can also change the color of the car...
Pic 1)....16" wheels, H&R sports, Koni sports
Pic 2) ....17" wheels lowered with (different) H&R sports springs, Bilstein sports..
Pic 3).....17" EVO II wheels (not really so mono block , lowered with FK sport springs and Bilstein Sports
