Nice pics, Andy.

Seeing your car in the dim light makes me re-think about your grille. Now I would tell you to lose it, and get the other one you wanted.

Well I have 2 grills. The more tatty one I am in the process of filling in the holes on the front where the small badge goes and moving that to fill the bigger top holes. I have carefully smoothed it and am going to try satin black as on my rear badges. Then use the black insert with the big silver star on! My other idea is the normal grill painted black with the bonnet star sticking out of it and then take some snaps and compare. I hope the black looks ok, it wont be shiny which I think would look wrong on the grey. If the effects ok I am going to lacquer it

Now how should I fit my spoiler?! Advice please!!

How did you plan to fit the spoiler? The factory 16v wing is held on by 2 bolts and 4 nuts. Does your spoiler have holes in it for mounting?

Andy, your shocks look to have settled really nicely.
enjoying the ride?

the lack of front number plate actually makes the grill really suit it (if you
know what i mean).
imo, these cars don't suit anything Matte Black, i think the grille frame painted
that way would really detract from the slickness of the rest of the car.

If it were me i'd fill & smooth the holes (removing both the emblems) in the grille frame
and colour-code it to match the car body.
and then put the insert in these last few pics in...
smoooooth.

Thats such a good idea!!! The satin black grill is drying, going to see what it looks like but I am not convinced. If I decide its horrid (quite likely!) it will be rubbed down again and colour coded I still have an original chrome grill in excellent condition so this one is just for playing with.

The ride is much better, its comfy at high speed with out being totally solid. For the money I am definitly very very pleased.

Ordered my front shock mounts today to fit before the MOT.

There won't be any interior shots for a while, its a work in progress Getting the dash sorted out and am looking for black leather seats and some black door cards.

Heres what it was like when i got it, after a clean! Looked terrible. I have a black dash in now and the centre consol I have fixed the lights behind and am carefully making a new black front to it. The air vent surrounds had cracked completly so I have made new aluminium ones (black!) and just need to carefully adjust them so theres no visible edges. I am making a new console around the shifter where all the buttons now are. The heater needs some repair aswell, managed to get it working but its either totally on (full power) or just about one depending on if you have driven over a bump or not!!

I like very sublte interiors and I really don't like wood trims. Its just a personal thing. I remember liking the wood in HMS Victory but in a car it just makes me feel old!
