engine life expectancy

I am looking at buying a 190E 2.6 w/ 188k on the clock..the car has been properly maintained and has all the records since new...how many miles can one expect to get out of these m103s? I know the diesels can go for a LONG time.. but i am new to MB gassers..

thanks
Kris

If it has been properly maintained (major parts changed at the right time and every 3-4000 miles an oil change) it will go for another 120,000 miles easy..... viewing the guys here with a 2.6 it seems to go and go and go. This might be a real gem to get! What is the asking price?

RE: engine life expectancy

asking price is 3900. It has a good deal of suspension modifications. Larger breaks. Boston Acoustics/JL Audio sound system and some other nice modifcations.

Oh yeah! I'm loving those rims...

If it jams, force it. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.
