Here is my new ride. I have it since 3 weeks and really happy with it. It as less then 81,000 mile when I got it. The only problem on it was the alternator regulator (25$ part...) and lubrification of the fan blower motor that was really noisy.
The body is in extremely good shape for our Quebec weather. I have some rust on the front end of the hood but can be fixed. I also have some minor scrathes. I'll bring it to the bodyshop at the spring time. The paint is 100% original, no accident. Interior is in mint condition. No cracks at all
I had 4-1/2 years before a 1985 190E 2.3 that wasn't in shape at all. Then, 2-1/2 years ago I sold it to buy my friend's 1997 E320. it was a great M-B but not as charming as the 190E.
I don't know if this counts, since it technically isn't my car, but this was the car that introduced my mom (and hence me) to mercedes in 1996. It's a 1993 2.6 liter 190e, pretty standard. But it wasn't completely stock: note that sick sunroof-spoiler!! What I remember most about the car was fighting with the damn center arm rest, trying to press the button in on the side to make it go up. I wonder if this car is still on the road? These pictures are from right before it was sold, in 2000 I believe.
