Question W169 Service index (A, B, C, D...)

Would somebody know to explain what exactly Service A, B, C, D…etc indexes mean?

Reason for asking is that as of now I am doing regular servicing on my A150. Oil and filter changes, etc.
I would appreciate if someone could elaborate what each index (A, B, C…etc) means in sense of service (what should be changed etc.)

Just in case admin tells me to do a search on this subject before asking a question, I have searched and couldn’t find an answer

PS. should someone know where I could get a workshop or maintenance manual for this vehicle pls let me know.

This should help you out .

Do it yourself Service .
Bert Rowe's-Mercedes-Benz 'A'-class info. Servicing, Procedures for change of Oil, Air filter, Inspection of Poly 'V' Belt

The only Car i ever service'd was a new one i bought years before my S500 ,took 6+ hours and all the Mechanics did was sit around there office (they didnt know i was hiding around the corner, lol),from my personal experience Services are a big wank ,i do them all my self and have no problems on any of my cars ,actually the opposite .Exept the nice beautyfull looking Mercedes-Benz Stamp in the Service booklet there is nothing to it for me ,(Save the money and get dirty like you are already started doing ,lol).
Of course sometimes there is a need to finetune some of the mechanical parts & components ,but that can be done when that particular problem knocks on the door ,Right! .

Driving a W140 & everything else feels like is standing still .
