Ride difference between 19" and 20" wheels

My ML came stock with 19" wheels. I am about to purchase some new wheels and can't decide between 19's or 20's. Can anyone tell me if there will be a difference in ride quality or handling if I go to 20's. Also, is there an increased risk for road hazards or damage to the wheels with the 20's?

with the 19's.Ride quality will drop and road hazards will prevail.Besides the sidewalls on the 19's will still give you the right look and handle better.
