Is W169 a good car?

I am planning to buy a W169 for my wife. I had a W168 before...handling was bad, too much body roll, always has problem.
Is W169 better? I know the only thing to trust is safely, otherwise I will not think of it.
Please anyone here tell me about your W169?

My wifes A200 sport w169 is a great car.
At speed it drives really well on fast windy rural roads.
Sits flat and turns in well.

I have not driven an W168 but from what Ive read (topgear site) the W169 is chalk and cheese.

I had one until two months ago... served good for 65 K and everything I mean everything was 100% when I sold it...not even a battery change!!!

Handling was superb and chasis silent as a grave!


My wife still wants to kill me for selling it and buying a B Class (I like this one too)
