Resetting the Service A Indicator?

I have a 2006 A150 which I have had serviced at my local (non-MB) garage. The assyst display is still producing the annoying message that Service A is overdue.

Does anyone know how to reset/clear this message and annoying beep? I have tried the method of turning the ignition key to position 2, pressing reset button twice (it doesn't have a 000.0 button) etc etc...but nothing seems to

wo rk.

2006 A150 Assyst Reset.

Hi

I'm having the same problem as Digger with the 2006 A150, no 000.0 (unless I'm missing something) and no reset procedure seems to work. Can anyone advise how to reset this? Dealer is looking for 350 euro for what amounts to an oil change.

Here's all the info you'll need. Just click the link below. I was run ragged trying to find the procedure for the 2006 A Class so when I did I said I'd make it available to all.

Mad Mossy's Bunker A Class Service Reset Procedure|

The local dealer here wants €350 for an oil change basically. This save anyone willing to do it themselves a heap of cash.

It's my own site so if you have time please see if any of the ads at the bottom of the page are interesting and maybe hit a few. The ads pay for the sites upkeep. The top ones are there cos it's a free web and don't make me anything
