I own a 2007 A150 model. I tried to retrofit a used original PLUG AND PLAY navi head which does not have the same part # , but looks exactly the same. It does not work although it should, as it is Plug and Play. Does anyone know if this is a programming problem, or what ?
Assuming you had Audio-20 CD in, it is plug and play (but you have to add the GPS antenna), but the new COMAND will probably need coding (especially if it just turns off after displaying the logo)
If you had Audio-5 then you need to install converter harness, and connect the CAN lead to the CANbus distributor in left hand footwell
