Hi,
This is my first post and I hope for quick and helpful answer.
I have a W169 A160CDI.
Today the following message appeared on my display:
"Display faulty. Drive to workshop". On top of the message there is an Oil icon.
1st I thought the oil level was low, so I poured about 400ml of oil, but the message didn't disappear.
I drove to a friend's workshop with MB software, ran a test, which said "NO ECU ERRORS".
I checked everything - power windows, air co., automatic lights, etc. Everything is working FINE.
The only thing that does not work is when I turn the key to pos. 2 and scroll for automatic oil measurement, only the "Dripping oil" icon appears and nothing more. The text that "Automatic oil measurement is in progress" is gone.
Tomorrow I think of going for complete oil change to see if that solves the problem"
