Hello fellows,
I recently changed the front wheel bearings (job done with an hydraulic press and qualified supervision) and it went allright.
Anyway, since that I now notice a knocking noise from the right suspension when driving on bumps or holes in the street. My first thought was the front bumper (the noise doesn't sound metallic) but it's ok. My second thought was the driving shaft, as documented by Lofty at "Bert Rowe's-A-class info. Front Suspension, Replacing Drop links", but I don't experience "out of gear" problems.
I'm sure I've strengthened all the bolts and screws correctly.
Could it be the drop link? There's no visible evidence that it's broken.
Do you have any suggestions?
Greetings!
