Headlight Confusion w168

Hi all

I seem to have lost the manual for my w168 aclass and its come to light changing time on the main bulbs.

Now i have done the main bulbs no problem but noticed that there are a set of bulbs that dont appear to do anything. I cannot seem to work out what they were for and cannt for the life of me find an image of the layout of the lights on the interweb.


From outside to inside i have got the following bulbs....
Far Outside Top - Indicator
Far Outside - Main bulb
Central - Curious bulb which does nothing
Central and slightly up to the right - tiny little bulb which appears to be sidelights
Inside - Fog light.

I think the curious bulb might be one of the sidelights. However Why therefore are there two bulbs which seem to do this function
