WDB 168 gear box or clutch issue

Hello,

I recently got a WDB 168 A BENZ. The problem is that when the motor is cold it is quite a struggle to shift into the first gear and when I succeed, the gear box is giving me a big loud clunking and sometimes a jolt. Shifting in the second gear is often followed by a clunking but not too hard and sometimes if I very, very slowly ease the lever I manage to operate it almost normally.

As soon as the engine gets warm all this abnormal behaviour goes away but for a small clunking in second gear if I cross the 2000 rpm.
