Big? A160 Problem??

Hello my sister have a A160 Mercedes, and we went on vacation in 3 weeks without setting off the battery or something. When we come back and start it, it started well and we drived around with it but, we felt a difference.

The difference was that somethings was shaking, that made the whole vehicle shaking, AND that the RPM counter is really slower that before, hows so :/ :/ ?

I opened, and checked the motor engine, and the whole motor engine was shaking.

At first it just did the shaking and the slow RPM sometimes, now it does it always....

Hope for some good replys, what can have possibly been happend?

unless the engine is running on all four plugs you will get vibration and of course low revs the engine will have no pull andd will stall easily .

Remove the ignition module and make sure its totally dry, if you know how or can follow guidence then remove the plugs, make sure they are clean and replace It may well be that this condition which i suspect is caused by dampness getting into the system may clear when the car gets warm only time will tell.

if you do have to visit the garage there is every chance MB will tell you it's the MAFS sensor , if that is the case DO NOT leave it with them to repair it will cost between £1200-1400 for a new ecu should this be the cause then it can be repaired for a 1/4 of that price and you will get a 15% discount if you mentioon my site

But first things first see if you can get the car diagnosed see what ythe problem is.

Hopefully you can now come back and say it's sorted itself out.
