Power Steering Pump for A160 (2003)

Hi guys,

I have a friend who is desperate for a brand new power steering pump for the A160 (2003 model). We are in Zimbabwe and we cannot find it anywhere here. The Mercedes dealership here has said we will have to import and they are not interested in helping.
Would anyone recommend a reputable distributor or Mercedes dealership anywhere in the world that i can contact? Payment will be made by wire transfer before goods are shipped.

Any leads will be greatly appreciated.

If you search the web(www)internet there are masses of companies that will help your friend.
simply search for mercedes Parts then reduce your search to power steering pump for w168 mercedes 'A' Class.

Brilliant website you have there. Managed to get in touch with M-B UK and they are selling it for GBP331.20. Am not sure if that is a good price. I am from Zimbabwe and was/am looking for a reputable supplier who will still send the goods to me after receiving my wire transfer.

That does sound as though they are charging top wack but if it includes carriege from the uk then go with it. bear in mind that you should not have to pay VAT

Vat is 15% of the cost of the part in the UK, that should pay the postage/carriage
