Please help Air Blower not working?

Hello im new to this forum and i hope someone can help me out.

I have an A class 140 automatic 2004 reg and all of a sudden my heater blower and air con will only work wihen i have it turned it up to no 5 the highest setting.

Any ideas as to why it wont work on numbers 1-4?

lisa, take a look at my page 61 that may help you sounds as though your restsister has gone, you can fit a new one yourself although it a little bit of a job as you are working by touch when removing and fitteng the new unit.

Just fitted the part, took me 2mins very easy all works fine.

Great job and thanks for the feed back, too many owners just read the mail & run not returning until they help the next time. I hope you read the story that went with a repair to a fellow owners car, MB told him he would have to remove the dash to replace this item , cand quoted hundreds of ££££££££, what a pity they hadn't read their own workshopinformationsystem(WIS)
