W168 faulty switch panel

Hi, I recently bought a used 2003 W168 A160 LWB and the centre console switch panel (a row of switches mid dashboard that controls immobiliser, side mirrors, rear wiper/demister, etc) has stopped working. I can't fix this myself so need to take it in for repair, but before I do, could someone help by telling me (1) which fuse should I be checking (I have no diagram, I looked a number of fuses, they looked okay, but I could have missed it), (2) superficially, what you would think the problem is if it is not fuse? Thanks!
