Hi all this is my first post but have had loads of help from reading the other posts, just hope you can help me!
Well here goes I have an a140 aventgarde year 2000
and it's due a service now but it has just started to make a realy loud knocking/rattling noise which sounds like it is comming from the drivers side of the engine. The noise is constant but when you rev the engine it sounds ok for a few seconds then carries on rattling, any ideas would be welcome.

It's ok sorted decided to jack the thing up and take of all the panels so I could see what was going on. Couldnt see that much but luckly after about 6 hours of looking and checking everything I came across the aircon unit which when checked was broke and was responsible for making all the noise. Didnt even think to check just thought the worse.
