Fitting a 12v socket in the boot

Jonathome BenzWorld Newbie Date registered: Feb 2008 Vehicle: E 270 CDi Avantgarde, A 170 CDi Elegance Location: London, UK Posts: 3	Fitting a 12v socket in the boot Hi, I have a 2002 a170 CDI LWB auto. I was looking at another site which describes the fitting of a 12v socket in the boot of an a-class. It suggests that the wiring is there already. Should it be on all cars? I just checked and it's not on mine (drivers side, right, off side in UK). I haven't checked the other side yet in case its there. Anyone else installed a 12v socket in the boot when the pre-wiring wasn't there? Thanks in advance for any help.
