Mercedes A160 class

Hello,

I have a mercedes A160, year 2000, I have had this from new, and has been a great car, but now winter is upon us (uk), I do not get any air flowing out of the two air vents on top of the dash, so the front windscreen do not demist, anybody any I dea what could be blocking or disconected to cause this, all the other air vents work fine. Thank you.

For the windscreen only rotate the middle dial fully anti clockwise, the selector is then directed at the screen icon. for max air flow close the other vents. having said that it's not the best screen clearing system in the world, in fact for a top of the range working mans car it's very poor.

Thanks, but it does not matter which way I turn the dial, I have put a piece of tissue paper on the vents, and turned the dial every which way, but nothing comes out even if I close all other vents, other vents work fine.

So is the fan running?
normally I would say check the carbon filter or even fit a new one but if you say the others are working then something must have disconnected somewhere that feed the air to those vents
Take a look at my page 61 that may help you.
