Oil Question

Hello All,

I noticed that my oil could do with topping up, as it is a little above the minimum mark. (Just bought the car and last MB service 3K ago).

Is it ok just to add some mobile one and should a liter do it?

Any particular viscosity?

Thanking you for any input

15W40 is a standard heavy duty diesel motor oil. It is also whats recommended for my 1995 SL500 by the local Mercedes-Benz Dealer.

EN4CER, if your looking for information on the 'A' Class such as oil etc go to my site and take a look if it's not there it's not a problem or not worth mentioning.
Albert Rowe, Lofty's homepage.index.html or of course you could consult your handbook!
