G'day one and all. Just thought i'd say what a great site this is and was hoping that I could get some assistance. I have just purchased a 2003 reg A140 classic with cruise control, air con etc, car on a 52 plate. so far i'm happy except for one niggly problem. The odometer in the centre of the speedo has no illumination, the rest of the lights on the dash work perfectly except for this. I have played with all the dash buttons etc but no joy. You can still read what is on the display but you have to catch it in the right light. Is there anything I can do to rectify this? please bear in mind I am all thumbs and suffer with fat finger syndrome so if its technical I'm buggered...lol keep up the god work guys.
Hi Mate had the same problem on a A160 looking at the dash at the top there's two screws remove them to remove top of dash.then remove the screws holding the dash in place remove the dash and replace the globe good luck mate
