hi there,
first of all you need to remove the din size radio,
then you if you have a pocket or cd storage underneath you will have to take that out, to do this,m when you take the radio out you will see at the bottom, at the back to plastic lugs holding the frame in, push these down, and pull at the black plastic frame.

once you have done this you will relise that there is a double din space, but there is a plastic running across the middle, you then need to cut this out from either size using a hack saw. when cutting this remember to leave a least 2-3 mm each size then start cutting, this is so that the cage of your new unit fits ok. you then need to cut the back bottom plastic strip as well.
you now have the space for the double din.
as they do not make a facia for the a class. you have to put the original plastic that you took out. if you cut out the gap where the pocket or cd storage out and the bottom plastic trim. it will ten be finished of nicely.

be aware, if you do like cutting things do not do it take it to a professional, not to halfords.

ive do it on my car and it looks great, but be warned, you need to be carful and have patients.
