MAF Replaced but problems not over yet !!

Hi

I had a problem which was diagnosed and required me to get my MAF repaired on my 2001 A160. Whilst the major problems seem to have been solved it seems that every 3/4 days the car stalls or loses power (you will have your foot fully on the acelerator and the car crawls away from traffic lights and then suddenly the power kicks in)..

Can anybody offer any suggestions to what I can try next ?

Have you checked other things like ignition module for cracks , plug condition ,air filter condition , fuel filter replaced after 45000, how about the throttle body, is it clean or oiled up , then there is the hose that connects onto the bottom of the ECU is that free of oil/emulsion??????That will do for starters or you could just visit my site where you may find other ideas, even a page to assist you when looking for your replacement A class

If the car is drive-by-wire, check the electrical connection at the accelerator pedal.

+1 for fuel filter, some filters have a built in regulator, I would buy OEM only.

I reckon its the throttle actuator!
