First time poster on this board, so hi to everyone
My near side front disc keep warping, usually takes 3-4 months to happen but happen it does.
A bit of background of my problem. The car is a 2001 A190 avantgarde, and my wife ran into the back of someone about a year ago a traffic lights, not going to fast probably 10 - 15 mph (so she says), damage mainly to near side front section, bonnet etc. Fixed by an "approved repairer" for insurance company (direct line) rather than MB, which looking back was a mistake but hey ho.
Kwik fit fitted them prior to the accident and have replaced them 2 times so far and they wont do it again as they say it must be the car at fault rather than the fitting, which unfortunately I agree with as I am surprised they changed them the last time, this time with genuine MB parts.
So I guess my next action will be with the insurance company and the garage that fixed the car after the accident, for them to investigate what is causing the problem, which I am sure is going to be a nightmare as they will say not our problem.
Sorry for the long post Any ideas?
