2002 A140 owner.
Wondering has anyone fitted a remote central locking system to the Cars original central locking system ( ie keylock and dashboard button operated system). How complicated was it and have you any details please.
my key barrel mechanism has broken (poorly designed mechanism - 2 weak plastic lugs have broken off the inside barrel housing) The part must be bought from MB complete with lock barrel (which i dont actually need) Costly and added complication of requiring drivers license and Vehicle reg cert.
Im thinking keyless central locking upgrade. Kill 2 birds etc.
