High Beam Stuck On

HI, Wonder if anyone could help.

My A-class lights seem to be stuck on High Beam. I cannot dip the lights, when I click the light stork.

Does anyone know if there are any hidden relays/fuses that could be causing this. I have check all the normal fuses and relays.
Would this be a replace unit job?

Hi did you sort this problem out ? As i have the same problem on my wifes A160 year 2000. As soon as she starts the car the full beams come on and driving at night the full beams remain permanently on i have played with the high beam stalk and this does nothing. Can anyone help solve this problem ?

Yes, I had to buy a whole new indicator/highbeam stork, as it a complete unit.

You have to take the stearing collum cover off and remove the unit, which costs about £70 from mercedes .

Not a hard job.

One more thing if you can help do you have a part number for this item and also details of where you purchased yours. As i need to get it shipped to the caribbean as this car is an export. Tried google but no joy.
