We just had a speedo bulb replaced in our A170, by a local garage, and the car came away with a fault. When you indicate either right or left, the wipers come on. They stop as soon as you stop indicating. They also work fine using their own switch.
The garage claim the instrument binnacle needs replacing, but wont cover the cost because they say they are fragile, and prone to failure.
