Injectors and Valves Problems on W169

Hi all,

I explain my situation: some months ago I heared a strange noise from my car, and so I went to my MB car concessionary.
Here they diagnosed the breaking of the alternator (it was much noisy !!!) and the injectors overhauling (for all of them).
After two weeks (~1000 Km) and 2500€, while I was going to my home on A14 highway, a very big noise from my diesel engine.
I take the car to the garage and here a big surprise: the loss from 1 injector and the lock of the attached other one.
Now my MB car concessionary are seing if also a valve is broken.

Can you help to understand if it's possible that after a fixing I must pay other problems caused by them??

Can you explain if the faults of the injectors and the valves are related between them?

Some updatings:
After the grinding of the head (the valves were OK !!! ) my MB dialer has looked for coming to a compromise:

I don't pay anything else that the new 4 injectors (1440€).

Is it right for you?

Is it possible that there wasn't any explanation for what happened?

Pls I'm waiting your suggestions.



Some additional informations: my A-Class 170 CDI W169 covers a distance of 104000 Km and I bought it in 2001.
