Hi all,
my A160 has recently developed a nasty habit of just cutting out on me. It happens when decelerating, usually when my foot is right off the accelerator and the engine just dies on me. Once I've pulled over and put it in 'Park' the engine starts again no problem. This happens every few days and it seems to happen after the engine has warmed up.
I've searched this forum and have found that many MB owners have encountered similar problems and posted quite a few possible causes. Of all these, the symptoms seem most like the ones encountered when the problem has been due to the crank position sensor.
Does anyone know if the A-class has one of these and where it is?
Also, has anyone out there had a similar problem and can offer me any advice?
