I have a question climate control in my A-Class (C169 latest one with standard climate control not THERMOTRONIC).
To which temperature does it compare your setting to decide will it blow warm or cold air? In the manual it said to the outside temperature, why is it so? WOuldn't it be more logical to compare it to the inside temperature? Because sometimes it happens outside is chilly (below the setting) but the car was on the sun so inside it is relatively hot, and still the climate control blows hot air (it was set to 22 degrees C). After I put the knob toa temp. below outside it started blowing cold air..
I don't quite get this why did they make it like this..

im not sure but in the short hot spell the uk had, when having my air conditioning on the windscreen went frosty with the cold...it certainly works but I didn't know it decided on the air temperature i thought it was just from the setting one choses on the air con?
