Programme My Key Fob / Remote Cheaply???

I PURCHASED A SECOND HAND KEY FOB / REMOTE WITH A NEW BLANK BLADE , READY TO CUT ........FINE I THOUGHT, CHEAP AT £6 OFF EBAY.
Then I asked my local Merc dealer for the cost of set up to make the remote work with my vehicle.....WOW !!!!....£120 was the answer ????
There must be somebody out there who can do this for ALOT less ??
Other vehicles I have had I have got new chipped keys for as little as £10 off local markets !
IS THERE ANYONE IN THE UK WHO CAN DO THIS AS I BLANKLY REFUSE TO PAY £120 TO A DEALER !!!

Programming key fob is dealer only same thing for the the blade -laser cut per VIN ID.

Hi there, Please can you tell me if you had any luck getting the remote fob to work with your car?

I have the same problem except I have the V Class, with the 2 button remote.

If you have a SmartKey it can not be reprogrammed or activated. The codes are kept at the factory.
Smart remotes have a electronic key that fits into the ignition.
