I have an new model A-Class (W169) about 6 months old. I hear a squiking noise from the engine when it is cold. It dissappers after a while. The noise is not loud and it can be heard only from outside or with open windows. Is this a problem, should I do sometihing? or is it "work as designed" feature maybe..
I don't know should I go to service since I am in warranty?
Probably a belt or pulley as previously suggested. Being ' In warranty' you should visit your dealer, as if it were to turn into something more serious they may say that you should have visited earlier and contest your claim. It is not a 'design feature' !
Do not let them charge you for a service, and regulary check you oil level using the dip-stick. Else the ASSYST may say you need a Service and they will charge you !.
