a-class lights not working

ive got a problem with my lights the dip lights only work sometimes as does the rhs indicator + side light .
main beam and fog lights work perfectly as does lhs indicator and side light
does anybody have any ideas

Sounds very much as though the combination switch is on the column is on the blink, they can be replaced and several members of other forums have done their own BUT if you do yours disconnect the battery there is an airbag under the steering wheel and you don't want to set that off so do the sensible thing and disconnet the battery.

lights working again , mechanic found both headlight dip beam had blown and a side light had blown also bad connector on indicator .
