replacing a led in backlight panel - A160

hi,

i own an A160. one of the backlight leds behind the main panel (the revv clock) is burnt out.

i am pretty technical.

what needs to be done ? is there an online user guide somewhere for it ?

Hi Lofty.
Have read with interest your posts and homepage, but can't tell from your info if the backlight for the odometer LCD can be replaced. Is it the central
'Number 8' globe as shown on your photos? (page 45).
LCD OK but needs a torch to see.
Naturally I'm trying to avoid the stealers too, but am having trouble removing the cluster hood. Your answer may save me the time but not the money! Quotes of several hundred quid a few years ago scare me as car costs in Australia are probably at least double UK.
