Greetings from a 24 day old A160 owner.
built Feb99. Second hand with 95 thou K on her,
Firstly, i am impressed with the car,
i may have experienced the odd rattle or creak,
but hey, ive been using it sans rear seats for most of the week.

...I had to get the front brakes replaced 6 days ago @ 94982km. That is:
168 421 02 12 - front disc a class(x2) 170
168 420 01 20 - pads 105
126 540 20 17 - sensor 2.65
Labour 120
total inc.gst 437.40
M.B Spares did all work on the vehicle. They found nothing else wrong.
Today, 6 days since that work the jolly car won't start and displays "start error" in the dash.
My first response was to see if the battery was ok and i switched on most things. lights, cd, etc. They all worked.
Friend came over(used to own an A Class), to jump start.
But we didnt. Battery good. We checked fuses, all good. Checked oil level , good too.
Skratchin' our heads now with a consolling beer.
I will be calling MB Sparez first thing.
