Sunroof Problem

My wife have year 2000 Model M-Benz A-Class . She's very happy with the car . Small ,Cute , Easy to handle , Packing ... .
But one day after open Sunroof can't close anymore. ( She only open & close once per day ).

I bring the car back to M-benz Service Centre .Frist time they use 1/2 hour can't find problerm . They need me book time for full checking . I book one week after . And pack car at home whole week (can't drive - Because in here is raining season ).
The week after I bring car back to Service Centre . After 2 days someone from Service centre ring me ask still keep going the job ? ( they still can't find problem -Roof keep opening )

Don't know why they ask me still keep going or not .They think I can drive like normal but sunroof always open .

I beleive M-Benz quality . So I'm bought this car for my wife . I been think whole day ,Why sunroof can't close . I use over 10 difference model of the car . Most with sunroof .But don't have problem .

Is anyone have same problem like me ?

Does it open by itself? A short in the switch or motor.

You can't close it after opening: check the switch, motor, track for blockage, and grease the track; does the motor turn when you try to close it?
