Best built, most reliable Benz?

Hi,
I'm curious -- can anyone tell me which is the most reliable, sturdiest mid 1990's Benz? I'm in the market, and I've heard that it is the "pre-model change" 320 E -- is that true?

Thanks!

I think the most reliable benz is a 124 or a 190 with an normally aspirated diesel engine, they drive like a gas engine but with the fuel consumption of a diesel... they love to revvvv...[:p]
also because they're totally not stressed by a turbo or something, you just cant ever break it. It just goes and goes.[:0][:0]
I would recommend for a 124 the 300Diesel engine or teh 250D, for the 190 you should go with the 2.5.
either way, every engine of mercedes is unbreakable...
when treated good ofcourse[8D][:D]

greetzzzz

(love to buy an 123 though, ----> cheaper you know[:I])
