I own a new 170 CDI 'Elegance' long version in Mangrove green with Cuarzo fabric. It's with a five gear Automatic transmition and my first mercedes and my first diesel.I'm a happy chappy. The size inside makes you feel you are in a larger car, until you get out and see her outside view. There is ample rear legroom as that 17 extra centimetres is worth it and has the same rear space then a E Class!

my mother owns a 2000 (bought new) 190 'Elegance' 'normal' version in metallic black with black leather. Automatic tranny too :).
Its actually quite powerful and fast.
